Botanical name - Philodendron distantilobum
Common name - Philodendron distantilobum
Plant info - This is a rare Aroid native to Peru and Northern Brazil. Sometimes mistaken for Philodendron tortum, it will grow into a big boy! Philodendron distantilobum is a climbing plant with stunning foliage that definitely does best with a large totem or similar for support. Not one you see everyday, this guy sells elsewhere for much more.
Plant care - As with most Aroids, this plant prefers a warm, brightly lit spot but no direct sun. Water when the soil is dry and fertilise every 2-3 weeks in Spring and Summer. Give the leaves a gentle wipe over with a damp cloth or leaf shine when needed to keep them looking their best!
