Monstera Adansonii "Monkey Mask"
Botanical name - Monstera adansonii 'Monkey mask'
Common name - Monstera Monkey Mask
Plant info - This variety of Monstera adansonii is a rarer type that is lush and bushy, rather than being a climber/ vining plant. The leaves have more texture and thickness, while the fenestrations are divine. A really beautiful specimen to add to your collection!
Plant care - As with most Monsteras, this plant prefers a warm, brightly lit spot but no direct sun. Water when the soil is dry and fertilise every 2-3 weeks in Spring and Summer.
Growing in a 105 mm pot. These are young Monkey Masks, the last pic is a more mature version that we recently grew. This is an exquisite variety of Monstera that grows thick and bushy compared to the vining Adansonii.
