Common name - Black Pagoda / Zebra Lipstick Plant
Plant info - Native to Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, this lush hanging plant is grown for its striking foliage. The leaves are dark green, striped with a zebra-like pattern that cascade beautifully. The flowers resemble dainty little tubes of red lipstick, hence it's common name, Zebra lipstick plant.
Plant care - Black Pagoda is ideal for indoors, outdoor shade or protected balconies and courtyards in a warm spot. If you live in a cooler climate, you will need to bring this plant indoors through the cooler months. It will need a moderate to brightly lit spot and will thrive if you feed it once a month with a good quality liquid fertiliser. Water when almost dry as the Black Pagoda prefers not to dry out too much. Water more frequently when flowering.
Growing in a 175 mm pot, this beauty will be posted semi bare rooted.
