Plant info - Philodendrons are the second largest group in the Aroid family, with their name coming from the Greek language philo- meaning love or affection and dendron- meaning tree. And what is not to love about Philodendrons? Philodendron Micans is one of the luxurious, velvet-leaf plants that everyone wants! It naturally has a climbing, vine-like habit but will also happily cascade from a tall shelf or hanging pot. Its heart shaped leaves have a beautiful, soft, velevety texture and shimmer elegantly in the light.
Plant care - Philodendrons in general are not a difficult plant to care for, requiring moderate filtered light and water when dry. Fertilise every month in Spring and Summer with a good quality liquid fertiliser.
