Common name - Dwarf mother-in-law's tongue / Snake plant

Botanical name - Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii - Jade'

Sansevieria are native to Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia and are one of the most popular houseplants due to it's easy care and indestructible nature. They were super popular in the 70's and have recently made a roaring come back! It is clump forming and will regularly multiply, eventually filling the pot with its gorgeous leaves. This variety of Sansevieria is a dwarf form with solid green foliage, growing to a maximum of about 30 centimetres tall.

Sansevierias are one of the hardiest plants and are so easy to care for! They will thrive anywhere, from bright to very low light, and only need watering when the soil is very dry. The only way to kill these babies is with over-watering, so make sure not to do that! Use a good quality liquid fertiliser once a month in Spring and Summer.
