Common name - Schismatoglottis wallichii
Plant info - This hard to find Aroid is native mainly to tropical Borneo but can also be found in parts of Southeast Asia, New Guinea, and Melanesia. Schismatoglottis share a similarity to the ever popular Homalomena with lush, long leaves featuring a beautiful silver-green pattern.
Plant care - This plant must be kept in a warm spot in well draining soil, it will not tolerate cold weather so needs to be kept indoors through the cooler months. Bright to moderate light but no direct sun. Water when soil is almost dry and use a good quality liquid fertiliser once a month.
Growing in a 105 mm pot.
