Plant info - Previously known as Philodendron goeldii but now classified as Thaumatophyllum spruceanum, this hard-to-find plant is magnificent as a mature specimen and well worth the wait when it reaches its full, glorious size and shape. It has grown in popularity in the Aroid loving plant community because of its halo-like growth habit. As a mature plant, the glossy, green leaves are attached to multiple long stems in a spiral pattern and really stands out in any plant collection.
Plant care - This is not a difficult plant to care for, requiring moderate to bright filtered light and water when dry. Fertilise every month in Spring and Summer with a good quality liquid fertiliser. Give the leaves a wipe over with a damp cloth or leaf shine when needed.
Growing in a 130 mm pot.
